Legal Considerations for Nutrition Professionals with Lisa Fraley

What legal considerations should nutrition professionals understand when building and growing their practice? In this episode of the NTI PodTalk, we’re joined by Lisa Fraley, attorney and legal coach, to discuss the legal boundaries nutrition professionals need to navigate.

We reached out to our students and grads and asked them what questions they have for our legal expert, Lisa, so the majority of these questions came from the NTI community. We explore scope of practice, working with clients across state lines, liability insurance, client agreements, and the legal considerations surrounding lab testing and medication-related conversations. Lisa also shares guidance on protecting your business, communicating your professional role clearly, and knowing when to seek legal advice.

No matter where you are in your holistic nutrition journey – a student preparing to enter the field, or an established practitioner looking to strengthen your business – this episode offers practical insights to help you navigate the legal side of nutrition practice with greater confidence.
