We hear all the time from students that the Natural Food Chef program was a transformational journey that changed their lives. Well, don’t just take our word for it! In this episode of the NTI PodTalk, we hear from three recent Natural Food Chef graduates, Catherine Gonzalez Lofgren, Ali Mayer, and Cathy Grant. Listen in as they share their personal stories about what led them to the Natural Food Chef program and the journey that transformed them.
About Catherine, Cathy, and Ali:
Catherine Gonzalez-Lofgren is a 2023 graduate of NTI’s Natural Food Chef program. Driven by a lifelong passion for health & wellness, Catherine holds a Master’s in Public Health from Oregon Health & Science University and is currently a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach candidate. In addition, Catherine serves on the Board of Directors for JoyRx/Children’s Cancer Association, which strives to enhance the quality of healthcare for pediatric patients facing life-threatening illnesses.
Ali’s career path has taken her from the corporate world to entrepreneurship to work in philanthropy and the nonprofit sector. The thread throughout her career has been a desire to create, to work with and in support of others, and to build community. During the Covid pandemic, she found a passion for cooking, which she explored through online cooking courses with Leiths School of Food and Wine in London. An enduring interest in health and wellness, buoyed by her forays into cooking, led her to become a Natural Food Chef through The Nutrition Therapy Institute. She is excited to explore new opportunities that merge culinary arts and nutrition with her passion for entrepreneurship and making a difference in the world.
Cathy spent 35 years in the Fitness Industry. Hiking and Biking enthusiast. Lover of healthy Food and Lifestyles!
