About Tamra:
As a professional chef and Nutrition Therapist Master with over 15 years of culinary experience, I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate the complex relationship between what they eat and how they feel. Throughout my profession, I’ve immersed myself in the art of cooking while delving deep into the science of nutrition, honing my skills to better understand how food impacts our bodies and minds.
My journey began in the kitchens of renowned restaurants, where I cultivated an appreciation for quality ingredients. Over time, my curiosity led me to explore the intersection of food and health, ultimately leading me to pursue advanced training at Nutrition Therapy Institute.
My own issues overcoming dependency on mood-regulating medications has deeply influenced my approach. I understand firsthand the desire to explore alternative avenues for wellness, and I’m committed to providing compassionate support and practical guidance to others on similar paths.
From conducting in-depth consultations to leading hands-on cooking workshops, I offer comprehensive services designed to empower individuals to take charge of their mental health. I work with clients on issues like identifying nutrient-rich foods that promote mood stability and exploring lifestyle modifications that complement dietary changes. Whether you’re seeking relief from specific symptoms, aiming to adopt a more mindful approach to eating, or simply looking to optimize your overall mental health, my holistic approach is tailored to meet you where you are at.
